My name is Alison and I am a Secondary Education/English major just entering my Junior year. This is my first semester at RIC, though I just got my Associate's Degree from CCRI. Most of my classes are Lit courses, but this FNED is crucial to becoming a teacher, so I'm glad I'm taking it right at the start. My schedule is pretty nice, with 2 classes a day Monday through Thursday. It takes me an hour to commute to the school, so I'm glad my classes are grouped together. In my free time, I like to read and write, and hang around on the internet. Though I love writing, I really hate technical writing, so school papers have always been a chore. But it's a necessary evil.

Hi Alison,
ReplyDeleteLove the title of your blog! It's wonderful to hear that you love to write. Don't indulge your feelings about technical writing: an English teacher needs to teach technical writing...
